In June, 2005, while talking with my sister Christine on the phone, I mentioned to her how beautiful the roses were this year due to the extra rain we had received. She asked me to send her a picture so she could see what I had been observing out the window. Here’ are some of the picture I sent to her. They are pretty basic but she loved them and encouraged me to pursue photography as a hobby.
