GOAL SETTING: “I became interested in goal setting at the age of 16 when my friend’s father introduced me to the concept. The concept blew me away. I had never heard about setting goals in my 16 years of life.

So, armed with my new enthusiasm about life, I set about setting goals. I wanted to get married, have children, get a job that I really liked, and have a bunch of animals.

My parents wouldn’t allow me to have animals so I set a goal that in the meantime, I would somehow, some way, connect with horses.
Shortly thereafter, my girlfriend and I hopped on our bikes and left the city to explore the country to see if we could find a horse to befriend. Before we knew it, we were not only petting a horse, but the owner let us ride his two Morgan horses. We were in ecstasy. We rode all summer long.
I learned the power of setting goals, of having an intention come to fruition. To me, it was like magic.”
